Despite the weather this years Halloween Fright Night was the best ever with an estimate of around about 80 -100 people attending , volunteers worked hard in adverse weather conditions all week to make the site look so good especially Tony Thorne who despite his flu made the Community Barn so accommodating and weather proof..
Social Event
The groundwork for our community shelter got underway on Saturday ,we took advantage of Mick Stuanton’s offer to utilize the use of a digger he had acquired for the weekend .This work was carried out at very short notice so special thanks to all those who helped out after turning up to work on their own plots.
Tredegar Allotments are proud to announce the opening of the luxury toilets on site. Councillor Jeremy Kite officially opened the toilets after being instrumental in helping to get the funding from the EDF community project fund.
The Opening Ceremony
The toilets were supplied by Waltons www.waltons.co.uk, mention Tredegar Allotments if you order a shed from them.
