On Saturday work continued on the roof of the community shelter another full day should see the roof completed, then we only need to level the floor surface ready for our summer BBQ on 27 July…..
And I was blaming Mr Bunny
On Saturday the construction of the roof for our community shelter was carried out, thanks almost entirely to the skills of Clinton Smith and his Dad Bob with a few volunteer labourers passing and nailing bits of wood and Bill O’Sullivan keeping the team supplied with tea.Clinton and Bob worked from 8 in the morning till 6pm despite 3 heavy showers they managed to complete a very professional job .
Unfortunately with the demise of this years Fox family there has been a sudden increase in the Rabbit population, beware they will find their way on to any plot with gaps in fencing only the small gauge chicken wire will keep them out as I have found out this morning
After last years wet summer and cancellation of two events construction started on Saturday of our new Community Shelter hopefully to be completed before the summer BBQ on 27 July. Many thanks to all those who offered their help as this was carried out at very short notice any one who can offer any help with future works please let me (Richard) or the Committee know
